Touchdown Wings - Snellville
Touchdown Wings
Description
This fast-casual spot is known for hot, fresh wings, standout garlic-parmesan and solid Philly cheesesteaks, with generally speedy service ideal for quick takeout or lunch. However, cleanliness and consistency vary: some customers report inattentive staff, sticky counters, unreliable phone-order prep, occasional stale batches and a reported food-sickness incident. Best for quick pickup when you want classic wing flavors, but expect uneven service and cleanliness—call ahead or choose a consistently better-reviewed nearby location if reliability matters.

I'm not sure why this location refuses to admit that they do not accept call-in orders. When you place an order over the phone, they don’t start preparing it until you arrive and pay. This is poor customer service. After more than a year of only visiting the Main Street location, I decided to give this one another chance yesterday, hoping they would have improved since it’s closer to me. When I called, I asked the girl, "Can you please have my order ready?" She simply replied, "Okay." However, when I got there, once again, my order was not ready. This time, I made sure to ask her if my order was ready before I paid. She didn’t even check, just said, “Nah, it’s not ready,” which was pretty telling because after you pay, you know you’re going to have to wait. I then called the Main Street location, and by the time I drove the 9 minutes from this location, my food was ready and hot! That’s probably why the Main Street parking lot is usually empty; they actually take phone orders. It's important for us to support places that provide great customer service. Main Street is far better, and their food is also superior—perhaps because they don’t cater exclusively to our community. I will keep making that 9-minute drive; it’s definitely worth it.
The food was served hot and fresh. The wings were crispy, but not overly so. I always order the garlic parmesan wings along with the veggie fried rice. I truly think these are among the best garlic parmesan wings available in Gwinnett. Plus, the service was incredibly fast.
I ordered a 10-piece wing special as part of their six-year anniversary promotion, and I have to say I was very disappointed. The wings were overcooked and seemed like they had been reheated in hot oil, which made them tough. The flavor was supposed to be honey lemon pepper, but I couldn't taste either of those flavors; they just tasted like plain, overcooked wings. I also got a beef Philly, but it had very little beef in it. I really hope they can improve because my last experience with their wings was not great either, but I thought I’d give them another chance. I guess I’ll have to stick to Cracker Barrel or Fingerz for fried chicken instead.
