What Anonym dislikes about Dan Murphy's:
It was a wet miserable Nov night when we popped in here. There was a nice atmosphere and friendly locals. Decor was a bit strange like unfinished. Upstairs was very nice. Toilets were walled around but no top between roof and top of toilet walls. Felt I was sitting in the middle of the conversation being held at the bottom of the stairs. Could this even be hygienic? This pub is one of the best places in town. It's locally owned and well-managed. It recently had a much-needed renovation, which included the addition of a new upstairs area with tables and a large screen.
This bar really comes alive when it's busy. Even at 1 AM, it was packed with people. Murphy's offers a great selection of beers and other drink options.

Gotta go just to get a picture with the rock! I was there in March of 2015 but that's not available in the drop-down bar.
I've been here on a few occasions and every time I'm greeted with a friendly atmosphere and excellent staff. The pints are also the best around. There has also been extensive renovations inside since I was last here which make the pub very homily and cosy inside and modern at the same time. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Lovely Family run pub in heart of Sneem. Great pint of Guinness ! Excellent Food great staff very friendly across from pub a beautiful bronze statue of the late great Kerry footballer John Egan.
We received a warm and friendly welcome, and there was live music on the evening we visited. While some renovations were taking place upstairs, there was ample outdoor seating available, complete with plenty of heaters for later in the evening. I also enjoyed a wonderful pint of Guinness!
I spent the past week in Sneem, a beautiful village with fantastic food, bars, and entertainment. I visited Murphy's a few times, and each time was a warm welcome, with great fun and good vibes.

Fantastic pub located in the heart of Sneem. It has a vibrant character and a great atmosphere.
I highly recommend this pub. The owners are always smiling and friendly, which creates a really nice atmosphere. It feels great to be there.
Best pint of Guinness I ever had. It tasted so different and smoother than any bar serving Guinness in Cork. Do grab a pint of Guinness if you are around that place. Best way to end Ring of Kerry.
The bar is fantastic with excellent beer options and a friendly atmosphere. It's very clean, and the music is enjoyable.

One of the better bars on the ring of Kerry. Beautiful locals who are not afraid to sing an Irish folk song. hosting a Winter Poker League and has an outdoor bar that is fantastic on a sunny summer day
Big local pub on the ring of Kerry. We had a few Irish coffees as it was a bit cool this day, and they were very well made as the coffee was great, like the cream and simply enough whisky to make it interesting without overwhelming.
Beautiful bar great atmosphere every year it is holes part of the Storytelling Festival in November. Beautiful staff. Very clean and well kept. Nice outdoor area to sit in summer
Great local pub on the Ring of Kerry. We had a couple of Irish coffees as it was a bit chilly that day and they were very well made as the coffee was great as was the cream and just enough whiskey to make it interesting without overpowering.
