Really Nice pub with good food and service. Waitress seemed new but handled it! Would visit again. Parking: Free parking round the back but limited. U sure of street parking situation outside that Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids I assume Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and easily accessible in and out Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4

Sunday lunch was superb, quality produce and outstanding value. One issue with the veg was dealt with immediately- highly recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

WOW ! What a find. My friend and I went for lunch today. We had booked but it wasn't too busy, perhaps due to the weather A warm welcome and seated I a cool corner!!! We chose a mixed platter for 2. Absolutely delicious. Don't go if you're on a diet All veg cooked Al dente just the way I like it. Huge Yorkshire pudding, 4 meats rare beef, gammon, chicken and pork. Yummy roast/baked potatoes, creamy, Buttery mash, cabbage, cauli, broccoli in creamy cheese sauce, carrots, roast parsnips and parsnip crisps all smothered in a rich meaty gravy. Even after we'd eaten there was a full meal minus the Yorkshire to be boxed up and brought home for the hubby £30 for 2. Excellent value for money. Outside the courtyard is being renovated and they even have a doggy bar offering fresh water from a keg and a buffet of treats and biscuits a lovely touch Parking: 6 spots in pub car park but loads of street parking.
