I really appreciate the convenience of DTC. The double trolleys that don’t require coins are a great feature, and there’s an excellent fruit shop, a butcher, and plenty of good dining options. Woolworths is very well organized, and having Kmart there is a nice bonus! I'm excited to see what new offerings will emerge in the coming years! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Groove Train:
I visited once and won't be returning. The location is fantastic, and the ambiance is nice, which makes it disappointing that the food is just average in flavor but priced on the high side. The service is basic as well. I wouldn’t recommend it. View all feedback.
Haven't been here for a while, after this will definitely be back.
The lettuce in the Caesar salad was old and brown. I don’t understand how a chef could serve this to anyone! When bought to their attention, no apology, offer to replace it or discount on meal was offered. It’s like they couldn’t care less. I guess that’s why the place was rather empty. Should’ve read the reviews first! Will not return or recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40
I am currently dining at The Groove Train and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The carbonara is delicious, with perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, creamy sauce that is absolutely to die for. The parmigiana is also top-notch, with layers of flavorful eggplant and a crispy breadcrumb topping. The fries are crispy and well-seasoned, the perfect complement to the main dishes. But what really stands out for me are the eggplant fries. They are crispy on the outside, and soft and juicy on the inside, and have the perfect seasoning. I highly recommend The Groove Train for anyone looking for delicious fusion food. The service is also great, friendly and attentive. It's an overall great experience.
Service was very good enjoyed the food would go again Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$60–80
Its a step up from what you could cook at home. You feel like their just going over to woolies and purchasing the cheaper stock then cooking it up and serving to you at a higher price.. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60
