The employees here go above and beyond with their service. This is the best Steak 'n Shake around! They are incredibly friendly, quick, and the food is delicious. I heard the cheese dispenser has been broken for a month, but they still manually poured the cheese sauce for me. They all deserve recognition and the highest respect! View all feedback. Steak and Shake is nothing like it used to be. I visited for the first time in several years, and it’s now just a stripped-down version of what it once was. The restaurant was clean, but it felt very bare. The food was decent, but the overall experience was lacking. There were no waitstaff; only about four people working in the kitchen.
