My family and I spent the weekend in Ocean City, Maryland for a Mother's Day getaway. We were excited to eat crabs, but every restaurant we tried had terrible ones. On our drive back home to New Jersey, we decided to look up the best seafood restaurant and chose Boondocks. WE got crabs, $60 a dozen. Normally they're well seasoned but this time two crabs had seasoning..the rest were unseasoned!...Such a bummer . Come down from Pa for great crabs. Won't visit this place again.
This place was awesome. I wish I had more time to stay and eat crabs because they looked incredible. But we were passing thru, and the fried seafood combo was quick and delicious ?
Stopped here while out riding our Harley, the crab cake platter was amazing! Loved the fries and coleslaw but the crab cake was the star of the plate. Service was great, we will be returning for sure!
Off the beaten track, whimsical. Cold beer, food average, friendly service.
