Amazing steak spot. From the moment you walk in the experience is great. We were seated promptly and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The bread that was brought to the table was something I had never tasted before. The flavor profile was incredible. The salad was crisp. The steak was juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious. The potatoes were cooked well too. I'll definitely be back View all feedback.
What Eric Jackson doesn't like about 101 Steak In Vin:
Took my lady here for her birthday last night and from the valet to the hostess to the server to the pristine restaurant were excellent. Only knock I have on this place is the food. The bread tastes burnt, my Mac and cheese tasted and looked like it came from a box and my lady said her fillet mignon looked and tasted like it came from Waffle House. I usually don't leave bad reviews but we were disappointed as we had... View all feedback.
Dry aged steaks are not the best I have at other steakhouse.
Over-hyped. Prices like Morton's, steaks like Texas Roadhouse. Nothing special but the bill.
My food was delicious, though I knew it would be. The dining room is a little too loud for my preference, but it's fine. My issue was with the server, who I felt was a bit prejudicial with how she delivered her service. We heard the waiter at the table next to us describe the specials, and my partner decided to order the sea bass as a result. When our waitress came to tell us the specials, she told us the prices after each one. This was offensive. The male waiter did not do this at his table. We wouldn't bother coming to this place if we felt the price point was out of range. I kept my thoughts to myself and decided to take note of what she said to the young couple that was seated next to us a little later. She didn't even offer to share the specials with them. In fact, they had to call her over to order appetizers and drinks, as they waited a while with her walking past them. Whenever we go back, we'll request a different server.
One side of the ribeye steak was burnt, so I scraped it off, and the cap, which was the most delicious part, was overcooked and tough. It seems like it was cooked to medium well, not medium. One side was burnt, and it tasted a little burnt, so I looked at it with my phone flashlight while eating it and saw that it was so burnt that I scraped it onto the plate, and the waiter just said he was sorry. The recommended seafood pasta was also good.. The bread that came out first was the most delicious. The two side dishes were too seasoned and salty to eat with the steak, ruining the original taste of the steak. My husband and I ate one bite at a time, so much so that we didn't even bother to submit the rest. I usually eat dessert, but I didn't order dessert because I wasn't looking forward to it. I wanted to leave a good review, but even though we all have different tastes for sides, the steak, which is the standard at a steakhouse, was really bad. I know that the outside of a steak can be burnt, but the burn was so severe that I failed to control the grilling, and the cap of the most delicious ribeye was so tough that I left it behind. take care.
The 3rd time is a charm as my fiancé and I celebrated our love with a fantastic meal on Valentine’s Day! You can never go wrong with the mouth watering steak and perfectly seasoned scallops positioned in a pool of vibrant sauce that left joy in my mouth with every bite.
