I moved 16 years ago to new england and every trip to atlanta I try to make it to minato for the best sushi on the east coast and certainly one of the best in usa and this includes California!

However, we brought another couple who also loved sushi and we were all thrilled by the experience. the same kind greets from the staff who were there forever. exceptional service, good social distancing protocols, and of course the most amazing food! if they don't find it in the menu, ask them simply and the cook prepares it for them. we are so glad that we went to eat after minato!

Traditional Japanese restaurant with much more and inviting service from owners and employees!. if they have ever been in japan, this restaurant is very similar... read more Traditional Japanese restaurant with much more and inviting service from owners and employees!. if they have ever been in japan, this restaurant is very similar to a neighboring sushi bar in japan. from the light and delicious crust on the chicken stable to the Japanese sushi stage fish this place has both excellent eating and a warm, gracious service. great menu, great people, great place!

Even though I moved to New England 16 years ago, whenever I visit Atlanta, I make sure to stop by Minato for some of the best sushi on the East Coast, and arguably in the whole USA, including California.

However, we brought another couple who also love Sushi and we were all thrilled with the experience. The same friendly greeting from the staff that has been there forever. Exceptional service, good social distancing protocols, and of course the most amazing food! If you can 't find it on the menu, just ask and the chef will prepare it for you. We are so glad we went to Minato 's for dinner!
