What Robin Kayemba doesn't like about Smoky Lake Inn:
Rooms are actually above the hotel/bar. Restaurant looked dated & was closed when we arrived. Free parking is on front street in front of the bar. The photos on booking.com look much better than the actual thing. "Lucky" brand beer was the special of the night .. If that says anything. I was lucky that they had not received my online booking as my hubby took one look around and said no way. View all feedback.
The dining experience at this restaurant is outstanding. Be sure to meet the lovely hosts, Leesa and Brian. The entire staff is also exceptional. A must-visit if you're in this part of Alberta.
The food at Smoky Lake Inn is incredibly delicious and flavorful. The staff and owners are very kind and caring individuals. Congratulations and cheers to Smoky Lake Inn! I will always recommend them to my friends, including their loyal customer, Nathan.
We were not in the inn, but we ate in the restaurant and it was by far the best eating in smoky lake. we eat all two weeks while traveling in smoky lake. the pizza is 100% made to house. we will definitely go back and stop this in the future.
4 of us went to lunch yesterday. paid for the quality and quantity of food they receive. friendly staff, but eating was just ok. for a simple hamburger without riding the full price was calculated. the only reason why we're here the other three places. we wanted to go, didn't sit in or closed. on the main road. the front step is steep.
Decided to have breakfast at the Inn and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and my wife had pancakes. The Eggs Benedict was done just right, the perogies was an added surprise instead of hash browns. The 3 large pancakes were light...and fluffy and I had to have one because it was too much for my wife
