placed an order via the app, the centerreach store said they never got my order. Would not refund my money. $40, never got the food or refund and now have to fight it out with corporate. when you try to call, it directs you to an automated chat bot. Be careful ordering from here. Always delightful and I LOVE that they have salads with grilled chicken, grilled chicken nuggets and gluten free rolls!!
I had a near nightmare experience thanks to the awful Uber Eats customer service and drivers that they allow to work on their platform. Last weekend when the weather was putrid, 4 different Uber eats drivers picked up my order and never delivered it to my address. An hour and a half passed, so I went down to this store and explained the situation to the counter guy. The manager working, Eli, came right away to help me and allowed me to explain the scenario. Not only did Eli apologize on behalf of the incompetent Uber Eats drivers (He shouldn’t have to do that), but he right away told his team to make my order. For the inconvenience, Eli upgraded both of my combo orders and included 2 cookies to make this situation right. He refused to charge me as he saw Uber did not want to refund me for the order. He did not have to do that, nor did I ask him to, but I needed to go out of my way to give him proper shine on this Google review. Eli was a tremendous help, and he handled this situation with such professionalism and fidelity. ANY business would be lucky to employee a manager like Eli. Kudos to Eli and his staff for turning a nightmare situation into a happy ending.
