Butera's - Smithtown

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with generous portions and reasonable prices! The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

We had dinner at this restaurant tonight and it was absolutely amazing. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was authentic, and the food was fantastic. The portions were very generous and everything was spot on. Overall, it ranks in the top five meals I have experienced this year and is the best Italian food I have had. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back.

I haven't visited this restaurant in a while, but we decided to go for Father's Day at 8 pm. There was only one table available and we called to see if we could come in earlier. We were told that we would receive a call back to confirm, but we never did. When we arrived at 8 pm, there were 20 open tables of all sizes. Why couldn't they have called to let us know we could come in earlier? Despite this, the food was always delicious and the wait staff was excellent. However, the management could use some improvement. There are too many options for good Italian food to settle for mediocre service.

I cannot praise this restaurant and its staff enough! We recently hosted a 40th birthday party there, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The manager on duty that night, James, went above and beyond in every way. Our server, McKenna (apologies if I spelled it wrong!), was fantastic - I never had to wait for a drink, and she continuously checked in to ensure our party was going smoothly. They even allowed us to arrive early to set up and were not pushy about us leaving once the party was over. The food was delicious, and it all came out seamlessly for our large group. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for everything!

Whenever visiting Smithtown butera's has a unique variety for anyone to choose from. I personally suggest Nona's lasagna it's enough for 2 meals and for dessert can't leave without ordering the tartufo. The only downside I have is the noise.
