A Matter Of Taste Grill

Virginia is wonderful and made us feel so welcomed! We had the ox tails, which were divine! Seasoned and cooked to perfection! We also had the fried pork chops which were seasoned beautifully and so tender! She recommended the collard greens and I'm so glad she did! They were amazing and slap your momma good!!! We WILL be back for sure!!! This place is a wonderful little secret nestled right in Smith's Station. Highly recommend!!!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE I COOKS COOK MAC N CHEESE TASTE EXACTLY HOW IT LOOKED HORRIBLE AND WATERY OX TAILS TERRIBLE ANYBODY WHO SAID THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEFINITELY CAN NOT COOK! I would NEVER!

Called to place an order, as soon as I started to order I was asked to hold. I was on hold 7 minutes then was hung up on!

This was my first and last time ordering from this establishment. The food was too salty to consume (threw it away) ! I had the BAKED turkey wing dinner with greens and mac and cheese. I have an acquired taste for southern cuisine and this was NOT IT! The red velvet cake was store brought and dry. I wish that I could get a refund, but for the price I got what I paid for.UPDATE: you called and wanted to make things right but I respectfully decline, thanks for the concern and effort.

The staff was friendly and service was quick and courteous. Quality and taste of food was excellent. If you like true soul food, it's a must visit.
