Blue Sky Distillery - Smithfield

It's current location is a little hard to find but it's a nice little place with a good tasting and great staff. They will be moving soon to a better and larger location so I can't wait for that!

Difficult to tell it was a distillery and not just a storage warehouse but the owner was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.I purchased 2 bottles as gifts and 1 for myself. The Spiced Rum was delightful, but it was the Whiskey Cocktail that really took me by surprise. It is refreshing and tastes of a light peach tea. It's so smooth it was difficult to tell I was drinking alcohol until it hit me when I popped the bottle back at home.I highly recommend, and I will be back for the tour.

Friendly owner, very knowledgable about the distilling process. Tour of the distillery very interesting. Free samples really liked the 222 Whiskey. Available onsite for very reasonable price for the quality.

I wasn’t sure about visiting, even pulling up it didn’t look inviting but nothing could have been further from the truth. I’m so happy we visited. The owners, Kim, Mark and partner, Mike were amazing. Hospitality was genuine. I’m not a straight hard liquor girl but Kim has a few mixers, still I was hesitant but everything was delicious. The vodka and ginger ale was amazing and the spiced rum with ginger ale tasted like orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream (seriously). They even make a spiked iced tea in plastic bottles, so it’s beach ready. They went from making only vodka in 2016 to having award winning spirits in 2021! That is incredible when you think about it. When you go there ask how they got started and about their first bottle they sold, ahhhhhmazing. I love this place and I love the owners!

OMG! The quality of their products is amazing. The peach tea is spectacular, unique and not too sweet. The peanut butter whiskey has just the perfect amount of peanut butter taste. I cannot wait to try the vodka! I am gifting bottles for family and friends this holiday season for sure. Including myself :
