Our food both appetizer and entrees were delicious and came to our table hot. We had what Joe's calls tiramisu for dessert. While it was okay, we certainly wouldn't call it tiramisu as it had no coffee flavor at all. Overall, an enjoyable meal with excellent service and not too hard on the wallet. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Joe's Original:
The service was great. The food was less great. Ordered a Waldorf salad which sounded great from the description on the menu. When it arrived, it was really uninspired. Lots of white lettuce and the chicken was really overcooked and chewy. Not their best work. I have had much better meals here in the past. View all feedback.
We are careful at choosing what restaurants we go to in the new Bedford area. One of our favorites is Joe's. Unfortunately, today's experience was well below the normal expected dining experience. The meals started off with the ahi tuna wonton over cucumber and the chicken, tender appetizer. Both were overcooked, and the chicken was stringy and tough. Our main course consisted of chicken piccata and jambalaya. The chicken piccata was reasonable, but again not the quality of the chicken breast that we have been previously accustomed to. The jambalaya was made with a sauce that was greasy and not very flavorful. Again a disappointment. All of. This is a total surprise to us. The next time that we decide to go out for a meal, we will have to be compelled for a good reason in order to have Joe's as our first choice, again.
The chicken piccata is the best anywhere! Love it and desserts are great too. Hope you bring back the Strawberry Shortcake in season. Really look forward to it!! Travel 45 minutes to visit your family friendly restaurant!!
Never a made meal here, very accommodating for seating change from outdoor to indoor. Very attentive and informative about gluten free options. Joes is our go to for spur of the moment dinner plans!

Ordered takeout, was not told until after card was charged and transaction was closed out it would be 1 hour until ready. Had to waste time while manager repeatedly tried to credit back card.
