beautiful room and table settings. eating was really good, but the service could have been better. it was lacking in personal, nobody asked if everything was satisfactory. we had to tell them we were done, and then they brought us the bill. we felt a little neglected. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tea Room At Burnham:
The service was absolutely terrible. The waiters had no idea about anything that was asked such as what teas and coffees they have and if they have hot chocolate or not. They then had no knowledge about the food being served. When requested them to to attend to us we were shouted at from another table and told to wait, which is really unprofessional. I took my mother here for an afternoon tea, and she and I loved it absolutely. The tea room was beautiful and had such a nice, comfortable feeling. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We were supervised by Ian, and he was just the nicest person. He has often verified that we were satisfied with everything and that there was nothing too much trouble for him. A beautiful experience.
The Tea rooms where beautifully decorated. Food was delicious. Excellent service, especially Ian nothing was too much trouble. Made celebration of my mum's 80th extra special. Highly recommend.
Lovely room. Lovely staff. Some music would be nice as it’s very quiet! Food lovely but needs more sandwiches and fewer cakes. Scones are warm and delicious the best but! Unlimited tea which is great too. Child friendly.
The tea room is very pleasant and the food was nice but we were disappointed with the service, had to call the server over when we wanted more tea or clean cutlery, she was not very attentive. The manager was very selective who he spoke to, ignored our table completely, the lady who showed us to our table and brought our bill was very pleasant. It was nice but we have had better.
We went to Laura Ashley for afternoon tea . The staff was really friendly and helpful. Really had a great experience.
