I only discovered Stoke Park recently and I’m moving to Berks but it’s worth making repeated trips back for! We had the sublime taster menu with wine pairing, preceded by a wonderful champagne cocktail (me) and beer for my colleague. Canapés to start, 7 courses and a sweet surprise to finish with coffee. A rare but very appreciated treat. Fine dining is meant to be savoured and this is fine dining at its best Wonderful setting, ambience, friendly attentive staff, creative and talented kitchen team and of course Chef Chris Wheeler at the helm. All I can say is don’t waste time, book in, this is a jewel in the culinary crown locally
