I spent a few weeks at the pub, and everyone treated me like a long-time friend. I truly miss everything and the locals. I will definitely return soon. Keep up the great work; the rock bands are amazing! Thank you, Dekan. View all feedback.
What Jason Appleton doesn't like about Horton Arms:
I'm not sure how to review a place that isn't open! I was staying nearby for the night and wanted to grab a bite to eat at 5:30 PM on August 25, 2018. It didn't give me a good feeling to see only one other car in the parking lot, but the sign outside said food was served until 8:30 PM. However, when I got there, the doors were locked, and looking through the window, it seemed like no one was inside. I ended up drivin... View all feedback.
Great service, great food, great choice on the menu, great beer!
Through the eyes of a mum with children aged 9 and 14yrs. We visited here this evening after searching local for somewhere suitable for the family to eat with good food. The pub was beautiful, the toilets immaculate, the food was around 40 mins but have no problem as it was home made and delicious, and very hot, even the peas. The drinks where expensive but I'm sure that's the area, 2x pops 1 wine 1 guiness around £17. Then 1 glass of wine and a coke poured from a large coca cola bottle £10.15. The food was well priced at around £10 per plate. What we found was, awful and really did spoil our family meal out was the rowdiness from the bar area all one room) I understand it's a local pub, folks have finished work and want a laugh and a drink, no problem at all with that. What I do have a problem with is shouting, hysterical high pitch laughter and most of all very bad language with every other word. My son sat there begging to leave but we had already ordered so he decided to put his hood on to try and muffle the noise, in the end my daughter dug out her ear plugs to share so they could listen to music. I really do feel the bar man or manager failed in their job by just asking them to quieten down a little as there were children in. It was very uncomfortable and we rushed our, what was very nice food just to leave. We were the only family eating in there at the time so no excuse in not knowing who was in the dinning section. We will not be returning to this pub or recommending which is a Shame as the food was lovely. The dinning section also has the door that assesses the smoking shelter so constant banging every 10 mins also was not appealing. Not recommended for family or a quiet meal.
This charming family restaurant features a sheesha lounge in the back, creating a delightful atmosphere. With a menu that includes milkshakes, mocktails, and burgers, what more could you want?

I ended up driving around the corner to The Perseverance and had a wonderful meal there. I doubt I'll consider The Horton the next time I'm in the area.
During my stay at a hotel near Terminal 5, I searched for a pub to grab a bite and came across the Horton Arms based on its reviews. On the plus side, the food was quite nice—home-cooked and reasonably priced. However, the downside was that the drinks were extremely expensive. Additionally, a group of half a dozen loud locals, both men and women, felt it was acceptable to shout and curse in every sentence, despite the presence of children in the pub. While I understand that the owner likely relies on his regulars, it would be beneficial for him to keep them in check; otherwise, that might be all the business he ever attracts.
