I've been here for over 17 years. eating is good and oil is fresh. the captain is great. for 5 stars, please start with tomato and swirl in burgers etc.
I visited this fish and chip shop on its opening day and was impressed with the excellent customer service and delicious fish. It is definitely the best in the city and a must-try.
I have sampled fish and chips at many restaurants in Britain, but I always come back to this place. It is simply the best!
I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips for my dad as he is in hospital.... pre ordered on the phone as per the request from the chip shop and to save time ...... arrived to collect my order to ..be told it had been given to a male who walked in claiming he had also ordered the same as me........ lost for words left without my order
Sticky tables, too noisy if you are eating in, chips horrible, cod still good and fresh. I have been going here for five years, but getting worse with each visit. This is reflected in the lack of people visiting while I sit there eating mine. Had enough now as there is plenty of choice if prepared to drive. Thank you for the old days.
