I can't believe this brewery doesn't have a five-star rating! I've been visiting since my time at Slippery Rock University, and even now that I live over an hour away, I still make the trip. View all feedback.

Wait staff and hostess were very friendly and attentive. Bar tenders were friendly as well. For as many people that recommended this place to us, we would have thought the food would have been on par. It may have been an off day but my burger bordered on rare when asked for Medium and the fries had some kind of seasoning that made them taste very sugary. They didn't have a lot of our choices of beer when asked. My bu... View all feedback.
Cozy space with good food and a nice selection of beer. Anytime we are in Slippery Rock we make this a lunch or dinner stop. They have a really nice outside space as well.
My husband loves this place. He sees a local doctor and then wants lunch and a beer here. Today he ordered the fish and chips. I ordered a rack of ribs with beer mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. We ended up switching meals because the smoked spices on the ribs were too much for my palette. The coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise with a little cabbage so I left it on the table. Our waitress was excellent!!! We were also impressed that the lady behind the bar came down the ramp and seated us promptly. (We’d had a longer wait in the past which was frustrating. My husband enjoyed drinking the Embalmer and I had a specialty cocktail with peach bourbon. Both were tasty. Our shared s’mores cheesecake dessert was delicious!
Service was great. It had to be manager that was rude and awful. She wanted to sit 3 people at a 2 top. Then gave us attitude when we offered to let the couple behind us have the seat and we would take the next available table. Refused to let us sit in any of the open booths or tables in same area onna Saturday night. Made us wait 20min until she cleaned the booth that a group had left from 5 min prior to seating us at a 2 top. We had good service prior, but with her in charge. They won't see us again.
Stopped on way home to Erie From Pittsburg . Hostess and wait staff were personable ,friendly and very good at their jobs. They were well versed in beers ,food menu as well as history of the building and pub. Food was excellent with a lot of unique items. Ours was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece! Portions were large. Loved the history of the place and the hand carved booths fit so well it was as if they were made just for us personally.
Visited here while touring some local breweries. Good selection of craft beer. We ate some small appetizers and they tasted good. The food seemed a bit on the expensive side. Parking is difficult right at the restaurant but we found a parking lot a street over to park in. Definitely will be back next time we're in the area!
