Thai Orchid - Slidell

As a fan of green curry, I couldn't resist trying it here. While it wasn't among my top favorites, it was still quite enjoyable. The flavors were delicious and spicy, which I appreciated. I just wish the curry had a stronger coconut milk flavor; it seemed a bit watery compared to others I've tried that are creamier. Nevertheless, it was tasty enough that I would order it again if my preferred option wasn't available. I also sampled the Cheese Rolls and the Crispy Spring Rolls. Both were excellent! The spring rolls were perfectly cooked, and the filling was flavorful. The Cheese Rolls also impressed me with their unique twist on traditional Crab Rangoon. They contained a good amount of chopped vegetables, and although I wasn’t sure what to expect, they were a delightful surprise. I highly recommend them if you enjoy the classic Rangoon style!

Don't walk, run to this place! The meal was amazing—fresh and high quality! The staff were fantastic; everyone was incredibly friendly. For appetizers, we had the Cheese Rolls and the Blanket Shrimp, both of which were delicious! The Egg Drop Soup was the best I've ever had, with a rich garlic and onion broth. For the main course, the Drunken Noodles and Seafood Tom Yum were both packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The entire meal was delightful from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The Thai food here wasn't the best I've tried on the North Shore, especially compared to at least three other restaurants in Mandeville. I do admire the charming and authentic decor, but the customer service could use some improvement. On a positive note, the Thai tea was very good, and the prices are reasonable.

It was my first experience here after someone who was very enthused to eat Thai suggested this location. She had the drunken noodles and we both had the hot and sour soup. It just wasn't tasty and the consistency was questionable. We both agreed it wasn't what we were expecting. Maybe it was an off day but my boss thinks they changed owners and therefore, the menu must have changed.

Great customer service, very tasty and flavor for food. I recommend this restaurant visiting and had to try some curry here
