Beignet Au Lait - Slidell

This is a very warm and cozy little business. You have sooo many different flavors of sleeves! And I loved that they also offered them in regular and small size. The mini size is perfect for children, sharing and trying several different flavors. They had glazed a Einog (which I am sure seasonal) and it is phenomenal! Praline was so good. My family also enjoyed the blackberry and the original. I can't wait to go back! I recommend you check them when you get a chance.

A cozy, charming place like a bistro for beignets. They could be as surprised in the city as this and the small store as they can be. They bite into a pillow of pure joy, a beautiful golden brown crunchy texture on the outside and the flockiness of the interior so rich, but so easily you can hardly say it is there. A variety of flavors to meet each palette. And tilt the menu over them have a complete breakfast routine. Eggs, sausages and of course a bit of beignet with almost everything. We also have one of their icy coffees. Personally, this was an almost perfect blend of coffee and sweetness. Most are too sweet, but this one had only a great mix. The atmosphere is great and there are usually a few nice ladies that make them by hand when you order them. We're talking about hot and fresh custom, just for you. And if you ever had a funnel cake on a fair or carnival, you have to try. They'll show you how to really taste it. I recommend everyone who travels along I-12 to this slidell output and follow your Google Map to this small but very comfortable shop.

We wanted to have beignets somewhere different from the usual tourist places. I'm glad we found this little jewel before New Orleans. The service was friendly, the value was good and the beignets were fresh and delicious!

Went here for breakfast all 3 mornings we were in Slidell. Great staff and wonderful food! Beignets were fabulous. We look forward to coming back next time we are in town.
