The food here was so great! I ordered the soup dumplings, beef in hot broth and the wontons in hot chili. I did get the beef less spicy and- as a lover of spicy food- it was still extremely hot. Also, portions here are large- an entree is perfect for sharing. The wontons were my favorite. The service was great as well. Can?t wait to come back! View all feedback.
What jay dez doesn't like about Wei Authentic Chinese Cuisine:
Food was good overall, but the curry seafood hot pot was underseasoned and the squid was far too chewy. The pan fried pork buns were very good with a nice presentation. Service on the other hand was pleasant but disappointingly SLOW and could have been more efficient. Our entrees were served BEFORE our appetizer which was also disappointing. Because of the service, not sure we'll be back as we have many other choices... View all feedback.
Stopped in for impromptu lunch and had a great experience. Our server was great: on top of things, friendly, and made helpful recommendations. The wood ear mushroom salad was ridiculously good and I would get a giant plate of this every day if I could. Also really enjoyed the scallion pancake, twice cooked pork belly, and beef in hot oil.Our tab for soup, 2 apps, and 2 entrees was about $56 before tip. They also had a lunch special for $10.50 with a decent number of items but we wanted to try different things.Would definitely go back!
Food was outstanding! You could smell it before you walked in the door! Truly authentic! And they serve duck! We did not have it this time. The staff were great! Only complaint was the restaurant itself, it was a bit rundown looking.
SALT.Not sure how this place has anything over two stars. Let’s start with the service. The waiter appeared visibly irritated by our requests. It was very strange. It wasn’t very busy. I guess he had something important going on in his phone he needed to get back to. When the food came out, it was LOADED with turmeric. I’ve had Szechuan before in California at a very popular place where many of my Chinese friends frequent and it was nothing like this. Over salted and just tumericked to death it all tasted the same. I really wouldn’t waste my time with it.
My hubby always go past this place on his way too work. I told him I wanted some Chinese. So he decided to go in.I can Truley say the food was great. Their Wonton Soup was So Good. It was seasoned well. And the Chicken Fried rice was good to.Its hard to find Good Chinese food. And we are happy we found some finally.
The establishment seems to have great reviews, so my mother and I decided to stop here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The dining room was pretty disgusting, to be blunt the walls were white and had old, dried food on them, the soy sauce containers had sticky hand prints all over them and the table was sticky. The women 's restroom was worse there was a sewage smell that came from the restroom and the floors had lots of dust on them, as if someone cleaned with a push mop and pushed all of the dirt onto the baseboards and corners.I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food was mid my mother got orange chicken the chicken was hard and the fried rice tasted like rice with just soy sauce. The wontons in chili oil were good, however.I ordered pork in garlic chili sauce to go this dish was actually just pork skin with lots of mushrooms in garlic sauce (I was expecting some muscle rather than just skin). Not sure if I just went on a bad day or if the 5 star reviews are old, but the prices were surprisingly high for what was available. I think it 's on par with just regular Chinese takeout.
