The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

Today after a day of going we drove to kafe damu to drink a quick drink before we went back to the hotel. the place is located in a main road leading to the kar... read more Today after a day of going we drove to kafe damu to drink a quick drink before we went back to the hotel. the place is located in a main road leading to the karls bridge, so it is wonderful for people to observe. we ordered a beer and a glowing wine after we found out that they do not wait tables, but they must order and take their drinks in front of the sitting. beer was good and fair, the glowing wine was expensive for its quality and as it was served, I would expect more. Overall, the place is beautiful if you want to drink a quick drink or a coffee. tonight they had some live music that was ok, but also very short performance.

I've tried the soup a couple of times and didn't find it particularly impressive. However, the main dishes are usually tasty and well-balanced. This is a good option if you didn't have the chance to order from Jidlo bavi in advance. The portions at Kafe Damu are smaller than those from jidlobavi.cz, but they are also cheaper, which seems fair. Updated from my previous review on 2022-11-25.

We visited on a weeknight and found it to be very cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind after the bustling Charles Bridge. Highly recommend this place in the old town area!
