Wow! From beginning to end, an excellent experience. The waiter was really attentive and friendly, helping to ensure that we knew exactly what we ordered, and choose which wines to connect to the food. The food was both really interesting and really delicious. If you are adventurous with food, there are some really unique options to choose. The restaurant feels secret and has a lot of charm. What Klemet Gustav Tamm doesn't like about Franzia:
A place that's definitely not worth the high rating. Ordered fish rosolje and ribs. The rosolje was not as one would expect- it was supposed to be with fish but in reality it also contained pork. Also, the salad was missing sauce and was not mixed as rosolje is supposed to be. What is more, they had added apple pieces to the salad- that's not what one should do with rosolje. The ribs had too much lard and the meat di... View all feedback.
Little pearl in Narva jõesuu! As our hotel does not offer late breakfast and all other restaurants were closed, we went to the city to get some brunch. After we looked around and mostly found Soviet feeling food, we saw a small building that didn't look really inviting, but burning barbecue out in a cold winter day gave us a hint that there must be more inside. When we were in the room, we had an interesting mood. Looks a bit chaotic, but interesting and welcoming. The fireplace gave us warmth as there was 13 outside and we were able to sit next to him. It felt like a hunting lodge in the forest. And then the menu and the food came... And what a journey of joy it was! The frog legs were a surprise we didn't expect here. Steak just ruined, was just made perfect. Ribs just melt in the mouth! And Dessertmann, it was joy! Anyway, unexpected surprise! Probably best, warmest estaurant in town! The staff also made us feel at home.

The food was both really interesting and really delicious. If you are adventurous with food, there are some really unique options to choose. The restaurant feels secret and has a lot of charm. There are loads of very special wines to choose, different Estonian liqueurs and endless varieties of schnapps. If I could give him six stars, I would.
Been here twice and both times left happy. The meals were very tasty, and the craft beer completed the picture. Great (and long too) choice of wines, beers and spirits. Don't be discouraged by the looks of the place, in fact it's one of the region's hidden gems! P.S. update from Nov'2022. The place is still amazing to my taste and has a very special atmosphere in cold season as you can seat by the fire, enjoy cold craft beer, which is fab by the way. The cuisine was top notch, as always.
Prepare yourself to be amazed and except unexpected. This place isn't your traditional kebab and chips shop. Just go with a flow and trust the head chef recommendations and the choice of wines. Friendly advice book your table well in advance to avoid disappointment.
This place is awesome! Complete masters of the grill, one of the best ribs I've ever tasted. Handmade bread, amazing duck, craft beers...totally unexpected. :
