We had been recommended to go to Boyles by many people and it didnt disappoint, far from it! A group of us had gathered there early in the day and John was nothing but warm and welcoming. We came back later in the evening (after an event) and the atmosphere and service was fantastic. We felt like we were having the craic with family, the staff were great! Thanks to John for being an amazing host, you go above and beyond, a true gem of Slane! Hope to be back soon! Coleen and Stephen
Lovely pub! So worth the visit brilliant live music, great vibes, lovely owner and prompt service. Highly recommend and would love to return! Thanks a lot :
Best pub in Slane, can’t beat the atmospheric lighting and decor, music, and friendly service behind the bar. The staff are welcoming and the locals and regulars are the best!
Absolutely fantastic Saturday afternoon we had at Boyle's! Great pints ! Was going to go for a bag of chips and was told bring in whatever you want to eat! Which we did! Had plans for the evening and would of stayed longer...... Highly recommended
We held our day 2 of our wedding here and we couldnt thank john and the staff anymore. John was fantastic with helping me organise it and had live music available for us! He was so accommodating with us having a food truck outside and went above and beyond. Everyone was talking about how good the atmosphere was and especially how good the Guinness and espresso martinis were! I went in with family and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and the atmosphere on a Wednesday night was electric! We would highly recommend here

This is the best pub in Slane! It features live music, friendly locals, and welcoming bar staff. It feels like everyone knows one another and they're always willing to chat with occasional visitors like me. The restrooms have a unique vibe, with plants growing out of the stone walls, which only adds to the rustic charm of the place.
The atmosphere here is fantastic, and it's a refreshing bar that isn't overrun by tourists. I would rate it a perfect 5 if they served food, so I think a 4.5 is just right. The music is said to be excellent, but unfortunately, we didn't visit on a night when they had live performances. The bartenders and staff are wonderful. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
The atmosphere is fantastic, and it's a great bar away from the tourist scene. I would give it a 5 if they offered food. I think 4.5 stars is the perfect rating. I've heard the music is really good too...

John of Boyles runs an amazing pub. Slane is worth a visit not only for the hill and the lovely community but for Boyles and the great traditional music there Sure meet the best of the community in the pub!
This is a really charming little pub that feels lively and vibrant. It felt like we discovered a hidden gem while we were there. They have live bands, affordable Guinness, and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, we only had time for two pints, but I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
