I was told, "If you like spicy, try LaoSzeChuan. "And I did. The atmosphere when you walk in was authentic. The waitor brought us spicy cabbage and ice water instantly. After a few, the waitress came to take our order. I had the chicken with spicy garlic sauce, and my husband had general taos chicken (lunch specials). What Shane Utton doesn't like about Lao Sze Chuan:
Food is mediocre. I get the language barrier but the staff seemed miserable and couldn't explain anything. They brought a plate out for my partner who vegetarian and the vegetables weren't even cooked. I took my meal which is a 2 at best to go. We sat in an empty restaurant for over 10 mins and we had to ask for water. Never again. View all feedback.
Loved the food. Good place, great service. Parking: Ample parking
I ordered for pickup , and Lao see chuan is usually my go to restaurant. But let me just tell you this location just does something different. I always get the spicy cabbage and Tony’s three chili chicken . And I’ve never had any problems with any of the food I ordered. But today , my spicy cabbage had random leaves and spices not mixed up but just floating all over and the Tony’s three chili chicken looked undercooked and had no flavor at all just tasted like undercooked fried chicken with peppers not the usual taste this dish offers . Will be ordering again but not from this location .
I would like to give it zero star if it allows me to do, because of the sucks service. My families stepdad into the restaurant at 9:10 pm on Saturday day night to have a quick dinner like noodle soup, due to we need to drive back to Milwaukee after dinner. But the waitress stopped us at the door, told us we have to leave the restaurant by 9:50pm, because they were about to close. We felt so bad because of the unpolished treatment. So I said your door stickers showed the closing time was 10:30pm on Saturday, we should have plenty time to finish the noodle soups, and we had never planned to stay long since the long way to drive. We didn’t have the dinner at the restaurant, the unappreciated, unpolished, unprofessional making us stepped out of the door.Lao sze chuan, out of all the locations, this is the worst one. Try some other restaurant, even express food is better than this, you don’t have to tolerate the bad attitudes from the waitress.
