7/29/2017: I've always wanted to try this place because of the food reviews. Last night my husband and a friend decided to go. Saturday night and 2 servers for the entire restaurant. They were very apologetic on the rate of service. My friend got a sushi roll and got it right away. Anything the kitchen was preparing though took LONGER. I'm fairly certain the shrimp tempura appetizer took 45 minutes to come out. everyone else got their main entrees prior to the tempura coming out it came out with my meal. If I go back, it would be for takeout, I'm not sure I'd want to wait that long for my meal again. But again, servers friendly. Food delicious. Kitchen SLOW. PS opportunity to update the decor and also the website.

We had a great time in TJR on Thursday night. We had a party of 9 and Jimmy still brought us in. The food was delicious! Great menu! The sushi is top notch and for those who prefer other choices there are fantastic options. The shrimp appetizer was amazing!! Nice location, lots of parking, we? back soon!!

Excellent service and delicious food. Fresh sushi and sashimi and good drinks. Quaint area. Back in the summer.

The food was very average. External seats are beautiful with a pond.
