Darling - Skippack

Hidden jewel in Skippack! Had dinner there for the first time and it was excellent! We had both fillets that were perfectly cooked! Many times for brunch or lunch. The food is always fresh and well prepared. It's okay. We never had a bad dish and took many guests.

Had lunch with a big group yesterday and my only complaint was the service... it took forever to get our meal. However, everyone and everyone said that the meal was very good and more than enough to take home a good bag!

My wife and I are regular dinners at Darling Café because they have always prepared delicious meals with the freshest ingredients. The service is great, and so is the relaxing atmosphere in Manhattan style. Last Saturday, my wife had an excellent grilled scallop dress with pesto and fresh vegetables, and I had a fabulous paella dress with mussels, shrimps, scallops and baby octopus embellished in a rice and choorizo base. Absolutely excellent! The owners are so friendly and very accommodating to your needs. The quality of food served in this BYOB restaurant is with some of the best restaurants in the city, but here in Skippack? one of the best secrets!

We ate here yesterday evening and there was not a redeeming quality of one of the appetizers, salads or dinners that would bring us back. The best dish was the Paella special and even that was a 5 out of 10. The ?filet Mignon? was so bad it was returned after literally a bite. The restaurant was empty, which was a sign. We left and went to dessert elsewhere.

Was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of the food. The ambiance is great too! Definitely going back- often!
