Gosh, what a great restaurant! Service was very attentive and attentive, the food was particularly delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Among the highlights were the Mousaka, the grape leaves and the Falafel. the owner made a point to welcome us and follow after our meal to make sure everything was taken care of. Thanks for a wonderful meal!
The food was amazing start to finish. My wife and I started with the Daraya shrimp. The sauce was a great twist. We both got platters, the hummus was very refreshing, and the portions were very generous. Despite not being able to finish our main dish we tried a coconut dessert. It was nicely sweet and tied the meal together nicely. I highly recommend Daraya, and it really shows through that the owners take pride in their food.
Great food and service! Very quaint and comfortable place to go out to.
Authentic, homemade-out-cratz Lebanese food served by a family that treats you like one of their own. You are pressed hard to find a better meal in Skippack. My wife and I stopped on a Saturday night. There was a big party in the main kitchen room, so the hostess offered us a table outside, but let us know that the food would take a little longer. We sat on a delicious Arabic coffee (not Turkish... there is a difference) and eat some pita and olive oil. Once the kitchen was ready for us, we ordered the Flafel cellar and Kafta cellar. It took a while to get out, as we found out everything was made from scratch. When the food finally came out, it was absolutely worth it. Presentation was beautiful, the portions were ugly, and the taste was exceptional. I had a lot of homemade Lebanese food in my life, and that was some of the best falafels and kafta I've ever had. Over the night we learned that the restaurant is really a family business. Dad leads the kitchen, Mom runs in front of the house, and the daughters wait tables. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and it added to the local atmosphere. Closed at night with a dessert to go (get the namoura...you will thank me later), and immediately fell into a food coma when we go home. This will be a regular stop for my wife and I when we move into our new home on the street. That should be for you.
