Despite mixed reviews, Eldon Hotel offers great service and delicious food. Some diners were disappointed with the cleanliness and portion sizes, as well as the attitude of the manager. However, others praised the lovely ambiance, friendly staff, and mouth-watering dishes like roast beef, salmon, chicken breast, mushroom sauce, and fish and chips. With improvements in customer service and menu variety, this hotel could truly shine as a dining destination in Skibereen. Overall, a place worth visiting for a satisfying meal experience.

Excellent staff and outstanding service. We spent several hours in the bar this past weekend and were very pleased with our experience. Fully COVID compliant while maintaining a fantastic atmosphere—it really can't be beaten. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Eldon:
My partner and I had lunch here recently, things started out well, with an excellent pint of Chieftain craft beer, and a cosy fire on a cold January day, but what a disappointment the food was. My roast beef was overdone, served with just mash and boiled carrots and cauliflower, no sign of the other trimmings you might expect, roast potatoes? Yorkshire pudding? Horseradish sauce? The gravy was dismal and tasted only... View all feedback.

Lovely lunch at a great price and service. Lots of pictures of Daniel O'Connell too

Good food and really friendly staff. Very covid aware.

Friendly and clean up place. gorgeous breakfast !! rooms are little bit outdated. shower was a disaster to uuse . ok for basic stay on a budget. do not expect posh, but enjoy the very central location
