I love this place.. I eaten here, I’ve drank here, I’ve sang karaoke back before this plandemic hit, I’ve made friends here. The food is great, service is extraordinary, drinks are amazing (duck bomb) we really miss karaoke.. love the new deck.. very cool family orientated lounge to the left and chill bar to the right. Bathrooms are always tidy and stocked.. parking is great you can actually see your car from inside.... View all feedback.
What Bernice Olson doesn't like about Duck Inn:
They should call this place the slamming door it's like eating in a wind tunnel. The servers are more concerned about their 2000s rock mixes featuring creed than the fact that their patrons are paying 16$ for frozen spaghetti and meatballs (falsely advertising that it comes with entrée sides). I recently had lunch at this restaurant and had a great experience. The price per person was between $20-30, which I found reasonable. The food was delicious, I would give it a 4 out of 5. The service was also excellent, with attentive and friendly staff, earning another 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was nice and inviting, I would rate it a 4 out of 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Halibut Fish and Chips, it was a standout dish for me.
We hadn't visited the restaurant since the renovations, so we were pleasantly surprised by how nice, cozy, and clean it was. We dropped in on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The waitress was friendly and efficient, bringing us water and menus promptly before taking our order. I had the Turkey Bacon Swiss special with tater tots, while my husband ordered the Patty Melt with tots. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The sandwiches were grilled perfectly and generously filled with meat. I could only finish half of my sandwich as it was so filling. The tots were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, just as they should be. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Patty Melt and praised the quality of the burger. We were both very satisfied with our meals. The bathrooms were spacious and spotless, which is always a good sign in my book. There is ample parking available right in front of the restaurant. If you're passing by, don't hesitate to stop in at the Duck Inn. It's sure to satisfy your cravings. Parking: Convenient right off the highway. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchair navigation.
I have been coming to this restaurant since the first night it opened, in 1952 or 1954. I always enjoy it. I grew up in Skamokawa. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. I would recommend trying the Halibut Fish and Chips, Chicken Strips, and Clam Chowder. The price per person for a lunch meal is between $10-20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5.
