We visited on 9/20/17. We grabbed some food from the taco stand across the street and I wanted my first Alaskan beer to compliment my food. The bartender was awesome! He let me sip a few samples before I decided on the perfect one and the bartender mixed a Bay Breeze for my partner. We sat outside, ate, drank and enjoyed the sights. I worked here the food is mostly frozen, the specials are great I was also attacked by a female employee while she was drunk, then I was fired because her job was more valuable when I was told I would be pressing charges the manager told me no one would care, they own the hotel the bar and the restaurant Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
The bar in Skagway. Fun, live music and alcohol. What is that? If you want to go where the locals go, this is the place.
Get a pizza from the next door, come to Heps... drink until 5:00... his good life.

Great locals place that is not too touristy. Nice folks, good music, and Kevin (the bartender) made some capricious cocktails!
Solid craft beer bar with friendly locals and staff. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth a visit!
