We have been in the Restaurant only. It is well furnished. You fell welcome and cosy but it still is clean in style. Ask about the bar when you are there. The Service was great. We were served with great attention, interesting shared information about the hotel, the food, the wine and the area. The chief serves the main course and the desert. He is an artist in the kitchen and on the plate though reserves and polite. Food drinks: We selected the 5 course menu and the wine accompaniment. Every course was of great creativity based on great quality of the ingredients. A modern and innovative signature based on mostly local products based on traditional Norwegian recipes. The choices of wine where great and special. The sommelier knew the wineries by hart and prepared a great selection. You can trust his advises. Worth a trip only for

I just want to queue up these good reviews Our extended family celebrated Easter at Skåbu. The hosts spanned the ages with hospitality and service. I have stayed a lot in hotels and eaten out through work in recent years, in addition always eating a lot of burgers. All meals scored a top 3... The elk burger is the best burger I've eaten in as far as I can remember. That and the lamb kebab are worth a visit in themselves
