Bill was expensive for what it is and compared to other places. When you add this to the lack of character would definitely be on my avoid list

The service was vey slow and the s... read more The only good thing I can say about this restaurant is the sun terrace which is what we were drawn to on our visit for lunch. The service was vey slow and the staff looked as if they weren't bothered. We sat there for 15 minutes and had to ask for the menu three times. After being there for 25 minutes our bottle of wine arrived and the food order was taken. We also ordered a bottle of still water which didn't arrive until the end of our meal and again the staff had to be reminded. We were told that the food we ordered from the menu was not available, so we then had to order alternatives. Sadly the food we ordered was cold and swimming in fat. I order white coffee at the end of the meal and asked for the bill. The coffee was serviced black and by this time I just wanted to get out of the place. After three attempts to get the bill, I had to walk up to the till to pay. We will never return there again.

My partner... read more While staying at Calipolis Hotel, we had lunch at this hotel bar. I ordered Club Sandwich which was a huge portion. However, the fries were not good. My partner's Fish Chips had very little fish. The service was quite average too.
