The street sign drew us in claiming vegetarian menu and local ingredients . Well, it was a fancy and expensive place, but we decided to splurge. They have absolutely no idea what vegetarians eat. The vegetarian menu consisted of plain tofu slabs or what they mistakenly called vegeburgers. The waiter made multiple ordering and charging mistakes, partly because he didn 't know the menu at all, and partly because he was just careless or even fraudulent. Then he rudely told us we were WRONG when we politely pointed out the mistakes, including two overcharging issues, although he grudgingly admitted to them, partly. He withheld relevant information and glared at us. The burger was an unseasoned and completely inedible blob of puree on an oversized bare plate. No bread, no sauce, no accompaniment. They forgot the potatoes that were supposed to accompany it. When reminded, they arrived as totally bare boiled diced potatoes, with nothing provided to accompany them. We left very hungry, much poorer, and feeling totally insulted. By the way, we lodged at another much less expensive hotel nearby, which was wonderful, and decided to take half board there after this experience. The food there was infinitely better, and they were able to accommodate our diet just fine.
