They have a picture ogmf s beautiful Nespolitan margherita on their menu poster, but what we got was terrible and I suspect they used tomato paste from å shop and cheese that was fake or very cheap. Steer away at all costs

We only wanted pizza and a drink but... read more This relates to the Scalegeri on the corner of the square, not any other restaurant with a similar name elsewhere in town. We only wanted pizza and a drink but found one pizza to be tasteless and bland whilst the other was basically inedible. The vast majority of the latter was left on the plate. A waiter did ask why it had been left and was told it was awful but just smirked slightly and took it away. It may just have been a bad day at the office for them but, based on our visit, would suggest walking on by to just about any other eatery in Sirmione.

Don't really understand other negative reviews on here. We found it very nice with great staff, great quality fresh food and great value. Would recommend to others.

I, who didn't want to eat a whole pizza, opted for the small crunchy slices served with salad. Super friendly server and fair price. Very good and right in front of the castle. Be careful in Italy they charge a cutlery tax of €2 per person.
