This restaurant about a t... read more Saw this restaurant recommended on tripadvisor as a good place to eat. We were staying in Ortigia, which was much too touristy for us. This restaurant about a ten minute walk across the bridge from Ortigia, did not disappoint. Lots of locals eating there the night we visited, which is always a good sign, friendly welcome, lovely menu and very tasty freshly prepared food at a good price. And Beer on Draught, which was a must for our party, not every restaurant has draught beer, so before we entered we checked and that decided whether we would eat there or not. No hurry to rush us on. Thank you all at 1221 by TimeOut for a lovely evening.

I ordered pasta carbonara (not on the. menu) that was cooked to perfection! Focaccia cooked in their pizza oven also fantastic. Vegetarian friendly.
