premise: the evaluation covers only the bar part for breakfast in the morning. the position is to say little spectacular, directly in front of the magnificent duomo of ortigia, but positive things end here. at 8:00 a.m. there's nothing for breakfast. they have forgotten part of our order (coffee and cappuccino) and we have to go again to ask: I can also understand if it happens at a time of great confusion, but there... The worst business card for the garden! Unfortunately we decided to give us breakfast in ortigia in this bar that externally presents itself in excellent position. we settled in a free table in the middle of many other free and immediately the waiter, vincenzo, made us move on the other side of the public because it made them accommodate the passengers of the cruise. we sat down and after a long time he returned to take the order: some brioches with ice cream and cappuccini for all 4 (precisely that with us there was also a little girl) after 10 minutes plentifully we kindly ask as missing and (always mr. vincenzo) replied that it would be informed immediately and instead went to take other orders to other tables. after another 15 minutes, not worthy of a look and no answer, we decide to stand up and go to the next bar, condorelli, where we are kindly welcomed and where immediately they take the order. After 10 minutes we see running towards us, even climbing the rope that fenced the bar where we were sitting, Mr. vincent who in a very rude and aggressive way yelled at us that we behaved badly and other insults, going without listening to answer, all in front of the child who was afraid to weep. after some moments of perplexity because it was so much arrogance (confirmed by other customers who had gone from there) we decided to go explain our reasons to the great coffee of the cathedral, but we entered the premises we were again attacked by Mr. vincenzo who shouted again on us without giving us a way of talking, making also the scene to throw brioches in the trash. we are replaced and surmounted by so much ruin. after a hard year of pandemics when we finally granted the deserved holidays it is really bad that such person spoils the magical atmosphere of a wedding favor as an ortigia. (we also have our unexpected at work but try to manage them at best with education and respect to the customer and do not chase him screaming and frightening the children) ps a heard thanks to condorelli pastry that to apologize for the accident while not being them the guilty, they consoled us with an excellent breakfast and honoring us with goose peat and advice on the best beaches!

In view of the offer in that area, I would say that it is to be avoided. sin
Education. the first business card for a service to the public is education and is what we found. Ice creams and granite are handcrafted and very good, with a perfect location. the place in fact gives right on the square, with a furniture consono to the context. prices are in the norm. easy to reach on foot if you are in the center.
Great disappointment! Waiting for 40 minutes for a breakfast, which if we didn't come in to ask nobody came to the table. 3 other couples in the wait have sat down and despite everything we have been served for the last as if it was done on purpose. I ask a brioches with milk cream and bring it with the pastry cream! but above all the ugliest thing, I go to pay and see people coming in and out without disinfecting their hands and all hovered at the entrance! This is not a service! never again!!
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious spaces in which to enjoy a relaxing meal and with a breathtaking view directly on the cathedral. excellent also the dishes and prices, which while being in a beautiful place, remain still honest
