Other sushi t... read more I used to visit this place regularly, but it has undergone so many changes. It used to have a big sushi train, which was put on hold during COVID. Other sushi trains have since reopened, but this one has not, and the staff indicated that there are no plans to bring it back. They've switched to table ordering with iPads, but now the iPads are gone, and you have to scan a barcode to place your order. The sushi presentation has declined, and the service is quite slow. While they used to provide cold table water, it's now served at room temperature from the back. Overall, it's very disappointing, especially given that sushi prices have increased.

However, when we went to pl... read more I made a reservation for a Christmas gathering around 6:30 PM. We enjoyed two rounds of drinks while chatting and browsing the menu. However, when we went to place our order at 7:20 PM, we were informed that the kitchen was only serving takeout because they close at 8 PM. At no point did anyone mention that the restaurant closed at 8, nor were we prompted to order earlier. It seemed like they didn't care about our situation. We ended up leaving as they closed their doors early. I don't want to say that none of us will ever return, but it was a disappointing experience.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and our waiter was fantastic. We really appreciate the complimentary mango bubble teas for the boys to celebrate my son's birthday; they were a treat! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, modern, and comfortable, and we loved the iPad ordering system. This is definitely the best sushi on the Sunshine Coast, and we will be returning soon. A big thank you to Sam and our waiter for their kindness tonight!
