Was Kristy Ainslie at Sushi Ari Sippy Downs a mag?
Beautiful food and great service. My only feedback would be that compared to other sushi bars, the quantity of the sushi rolls and meat serving in udon and rice bowls was quite small. View all feedback.

I made a reservation for a Christmas gathering around 6:30 PM. We enjoyed two rounds of drinks while chatting and browsing the menu. However, when we went to place our order at 7:20 PM, we were informed that the kitchen was only serving takeout because they close at 8 PM. At no point did anyone mention that the restaurant closed at 8, nor were we prompted to order earlier. It seemed like they didn't care about our si... View all feedback.

I used to visit this place regularly, but it has undergone so many changes. It used to have a big sushi train, which was put on hold during COVID. Other sushi trains have since reopened, but this one has not, and the staff indicated that there are no plans to bring it back. They've switched to table ordering with iPads, but now the iPads are gone, and you have to scan a barcode to place your order. The sushi presentation has declined, and the service is quite slow. While they used to provide cold table water, it's now served at room temperature from the back. Overall, it's very disappointing, especially given that sushi prices have increased.
Always nice fresh sashimi. service: dine in meal type: lunch price per person: $20–40 eat: 5 service: 5 atmosphere: 5.
Lower your expectations if you buy sushi from here! Very poor quality and had to search for the rice on our nigiri, tuna and avocado was missing the avocado. When I queried they said that's how they always make them.

We ended up leaving as they closed their doors early. I don't want to say that none of us will ever return, but it was a disappointing experience.
**Sushi Ari: A Culinary Journey Along the Sunshine Coast** Sushi Ari has become a favorite for many seeking delicious Japanese cuisine along the Sunshine Coast. Diners praise the beautiful presentation of dishes, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Though the menu offers a wide array of options, some customers have noted a decline in portion sizes and certain changes, such as the removal of the sushi train and the new ordering process via barcode scanning. While experiences vary, the restaurant frequently earns accolades for its exceptional quality and friendly staff. Many loyal patrons look forward to returning for another memorable meal.

This is the best sushi we have ever had! We visited for my son's birthday dinner, and the food was outstanding and delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and our waiter was fantastic. We really appreciate the complimentary mango bubble teas for the boys to celebrate my son's birthday; they were a treat! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, modern, and comfortable, and we loved the iPad ordering system. This is definitely the best sushi on the Sunshine Coast, and we will be returning soon. A big thank you to Sam and our waiter for their kindness tonight!
