Poppy’s Delights (formerly Tampopo Eatery-sippy Downs)

Hidden gem! we found this small Japanese/Korean restaurant hidden in a suburban shopping center, and after reading the reviews, decided to go there at lunchtime. it was great that the rugs were perfectly cooked, loaded with several delicious toppings and a generous portion pork in a rich tasty broth and we loved the kimchi pork soup. the coffee was also excellent! the prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

Delicious corners in the wall art of restaurants with Japanese food. I had a chicken kara ramage while my companion had a chicken karaage rice bowl. both were very delicious. very small callout was the different amount of huh in our meals. I had 3 pieces and my companion at 6, which I thought was strange as if it was the same price for both meals. but cannot blame the silence of the food.

The sushi, rice paper rolls and packaging in our plate were delicious! christina went out of her to make sure that we have eaten everything she proposed. eating was fresh and good value for money. I will always go there service: take them meal type: dinner price per person: $80–100

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me with an apology and offered a replacement meal. This genuine gesture has restored my faith in the restaurant, and I plan to return the next time I'm in Buderim. It's encouraging to see a business take responsibility when issues arise.
