The Garcia family made their friendly mark from changing this resort from a No Outsiders Allowed to Everyone is Welcome settings. My first visit was way back in when the previous owners were meticulous in choosing their clientele which was descriminating for class A and B. I was very happy of the new owners business perspective.. Lax but precise.. Glad I visited again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nataasan Restaurant:
We have been to Nataasan for a meal as part of our stay in Sipalay. The view of the place is very scenic overlooking the wide open blue sea. However, the food is just ok . You won't expect much as the fish we have ordered was dry though I would say that they offer off pick season rate during the rainy months for your accommodation. View all feedback.
I would give this place 2 stars instead of 3. The rooms are basic with no TV, hot water, or enough bed sheets. Our room smelled musty, but had a nice view of the beach and a balcony. We didn't try the pool. The restaurant only serves beer, not wine or cocktails. The power went out during our stay, affecting the restaurant services. We decided to leave after just one night instead of staying for two.
However, there are some cons to consider. The cottages need maintenance, with broken locks and refrigerators that don't close completely. The food is average, with mainly Filipino dishes offered. There is a corkage fee for outside food and drinks, and the pool bar was closed during the weekend. The bar in the restaurant had limited liquor options, as they had run out of stock since last week. Overall, I would recommend this place but suggest that they focus on consistency in their operations and strive to deliver top-notch service to attract and retain tourists, regardless of the season.
