I wanted to share my experience at this restaurant, which was truly extraordinary. I ordered wings, fries, jambalaya, black shrimp, stuffed shells, shrimp, and a salad. What Zach Miller doesn't like about Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen:
I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the food was quite disappointing. Although I'm not from New Orleans or an expert in Cajun cuisine, I understand that gumbo should have a roux and be thicker than the chicken soup they served as gumbo. Fantastic. My husband loves the catfish I loved the shrimp.... and we both really like the pickles.
I love the food here! My husband and I travel from Brookings just to eat at Swamp Daddy’s. We got my laws hooked on it too! It’s located in a condominium space with other restaurants, boutiques, and a coffee shop. It’s such a cool community space! I highly recommend.
I love me some Cajun food so while traveling thru Sioux Falls I stumbled across this eclectic Cajun gem! Their Cajun taste was spot on! I’ll definitely be back!
We are from New Orleans and can say that this is the real deal. The food, the service, the hospitality.., is all dat!
