What User doesn't like about Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen:
Went in to order some chicken and sides. Checked in at the window and the said it would be 20 minutes because it was gonna be fresh. Waited 20 minutes and nobody ever came out. After another 5u went inside and they didn't even know i was waiting. Someone deleted the order and had to wait another 15 to get my order. Got to work and the breast was hard as a rock. The other pieces were fine. It's only getting worse. View all feedback.
The food is decent when they actually manage to get your order right. It's frustrating that you have to keep reminding them to add hot sauce. I really don't understand how they can forget to include a biscuit, give the wrong ranch dressing, and only put four fries in the bag. My daughter just picked up her to-go meal, and it's laughable. I've been a customer since I was 19 in Orlando, FL, and now at 55, I can confidently say that the service at the Hamilton Blvd location is awful. I think it's time to try the Colonel instead.
First off, getting assistance at the counter is a major challenge that takes forever every time. I’ve noticed the same thing happens to other customers who arrive after me. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes while several employees made eye contact with me but didn’t acknowledge me at all—no help, no updates, nothing. I was just ignored. Eventually, someone from the back slowly approached, without any sense of urgency, and asked if I needed help, completely lacking any apology for my wait. It felt like everyone working there was acting like immature kids, loud and goofing off. After my order was taken, I went to pay and had trouble with the gift card. They called over a supervisor who also couldn’t sort it out. I told them it was fine, that I could pay out of pocket this time, but I wanted contact information for a manager to resolve the gift card issue. I didn’t want to pay because I’d have to come back again for the card, but I figured the problem was genuine. However, the supervisor told me there was no one I could contact. I insisted that there must be someone higher up than the current staff who can help, and he mentioned possibly the district manager. When I asked how to reach them, he said he didn’t know. What?!? I then inquired if I could just call and speak to the daytime staff. He replied that I couldn’t because their phone has been out of order for a long time. Okay then. I guess my next step will be to contact corporate directly when I get the chance.
We ordered non-spicy chicken but received a spiced version instead. When we asked if they could replace the chicken with one that wasn't spicy, they agreed, but we expected all of our order to be mild! The coleslaw also had an unusual taste. I informed the staff that they needed to change the CO2 or Dr. Pepper, but nothing was done. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Was trash service, waited 30-45min for my order and when I got it, half of it was missing. There was a huge line that sat for 30 min before they could even be helped, or sum didn?t even get helped. Straight lazy whoever worked the night shift on Monday the 17th..
I love there food but drive thru was horrible and slow! They we're rude and made me wait. Even though there was only one car in front of me?
