Delicious picanha in Lisbon. Amazing outdoor restaurant with landscape for Queluz National Palace. Great pitstop for traditional and grilles food, especially the beef picanha with bread migas with top flavours of garlic, parsley and beetroot sauce. Customer care and staff are friendly, available and quite nice. Average price of pp including drinks. Great terrace and greater experience! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about D'el Rei:
We stayed early for dinner according to Portuguese standards at 7:30. There was no other, but it was recommended by the hotel. I had Dourada and it was a good portion. My partner had the tourist special, which was a pig's stable all included in the menu with bread and house made pate. What we did not expect was that they would charge me an extra Eur 10 for bread, olives and cakes. I thought I'd share his part. The ow... View all feedback.
A comida estava boa, carne tenra, bem confeccionada e pratos bons.
Lovely little restaurant. Great food, staff were friendly but did not speak a lot of English, my Portuguese is limited but we managed to make ourselves understood. The best meal I had in my stay in Portugal.
With a eating room in need of a deep remodeling , a menu full of banalities, one can hardly expect a gourmet experience. Nevertheless, having tried the cod patties, they came with twice the amount of potato to be true to their heritage. As for the legumes rice, it came drowned in water. But the worst was the créme brûlée which was heated in the microwave. The caramelized top was completely chewy and the cream was much too hot. Wrong turn, I guess. Fast and friendly service though.
There’s a small porch outside and a larger space indoors. While yes, there were other tourists besides me having lunch there, the place has the feeling of a local hangout, and my Portuguese was put to the test. (There is an English menu, too.
