The place was beautifuly decorated and very cozy, the servers were very kind and the food was amazing, they have a delicious codfish and seafood soup, great to warm up on a chilly winter night. Would absolutely recomend.

We have entered the restaurant without reading the reviews, honestly, it was kind of risk. It looked like a tourist trap but we were being neutral and objective. I have read the reviews while waiting for food and I got a bit scared. My GF...did not know about the reviews, I told her later and she admitted that her lasagna tasted like lasagne you buy in the supermarket and then bake at home. I had some pork with clams and fried potatoes. The food was not that bad, however, it was more or less mediocre. For the price, you have to pay it was definitely not worth it. The waiter is not taking care of you at all, it takes ages to get food or to the waiter to ask whether you want anything. Overall it was not that serious a Tourist trap, nevertheless, there are way better restaurants around. I advise avoiding this one.

This place served average tourist fare, pretty ordinary in fact, but not terrible. BUT we found out when we went to pay that they are cash only. Ok, their decision, but customers should be told beforehand.

My wife and I were surprised to find a restaurant serving real Portuguese food in the center of all the tourist restaurants. I had the feijoada and my wife the Lima beans. Perfect for a cold night. It was a lot of food and tasted...great . The service was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed it a lot.

We were thoroughly disappointed with our experience here. Although they did have three vegan/vegetarian meal options, the one we chose was bad. We had the leak potato with soya cream. While it was presented well and looked tasty, it tasted terrible as it was sickly...and tasted like oily fries. It was also expensive for what it was and there was no option for free tap water (only bottled). The tables were sticky and the service was average. Would not recommend.
