I had dinner here this evening, with my husband and daughter. The staff is very kind and attentive even though the room was full. We ordered: Tyrolean platter, shin, spaghetti with tomato sauce, crescents with spinach and butter, and finally 2 desserts. The bill was adjusted to the quantity of the dishes (abundant) and the location. The atmosphere was beautiful, contrary to some reviews I read, in which people complained about having to go down... I found it very interesting. The place is truly special and there are both typical local dishes and classic Italian dishes.

Very nice and characteristic place created from an old prison and very well renovated. Good quality food. The service can be improved (even if it is low season). We arrived for lunch and it was already very late. Welcomed with great kindness and amazed by the very particular location (these were the Merano prisons built in the 1400s). They have many dishes, including local ones, but personally I think that eating Mediterranean is mandatory here. We took a gulf ferry that took us directly to Naples. Perfect pasta, exceptional sauce, tasty and finally a correct proportion between pasta and seasoning. We will definitely be back for the macaroni alla guitar with cod and dried tomatoes. Lastly, a coffee to finally remember. Congratulations for everything
