Im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise war ich für eine Nacht in dem netten Hotel & Restaurant. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick auf die umgebende Landschaft. Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Essen war ganz frisch uns sehr lecker, der "Saibling im Schilf" war klasse zubereitet. Die Preise sind nicht niedrig, aber anhand der Qualität angemessen. Wir waren in einer Gruppe von acht Personen am Abend zum Essen da. Das Restaurant war voll. Ein Ober und zwei Azubis waren die einzigen Servicekräfte. die Azubis, so hatte ich den Eindruck, durften nur ein bisschen beim Servieren helfen, alles andere machte der Chef selbst. The Zappa Restaurant, also with some rooms, is a solide, but not excellent countryside reastaurant. The service is sometimes slow and you get the feeling, the male couple who drive this house is not willing to do the best, they could. Fortunatly, it is not...so expensive, so you can try an evening in a cosy sitting.
Good food, fair prices, great atmosphere and view. Worth the trip off the autobahn if you have time for a nice meal. Entrees around They take Visa!
The restaurant also doubles as an art gallery, so it offers a very nice setting for dinner. The food was amazing with great portions. The staff was super friendly and the the cooks are doing a very good job. Highly recommended +
