The tom yum soup $12) and prawn claypot tang hoon $25) contained generous amount of fresh ingredients, especially the prawns, which were big and succulent. However, both dishes were way too salty so salty that I couldn’t continue drinking the soup after two spoonfuls). I had a wonderful dinner at the Thai noodle house. We ordered a Thai prawn cake, potato leaves with sambal, Tom Yum soup, tang hoon, and pork knuckle, along with some drinks—Thai tea and Thai milk tea. Overall, I would rate the experience a 6.5/10. The Tom Yum soup was quite good, and the pork knuckle was above average. The Thai prawn cake was tasty, while the tang hoon was also above average. The potato leaves were just average, and the Thai milk tea was overly sweet. Interestingly, the Thai tea turned out to be plum tea.
The Thai food here is absolutely delicious! We ordered barbecue pork, seafood Tom Yum, mango salad, olive rice, and a combo set that included chicken mid-wings, prawn cake, and spring rolls. We really enjoyed everything, and the service was excellent. For dessert, the Chendol was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable, too. I highly recommend this place. Overall, it’s a must-try!
Authentic Thai cuisine paired with exceptional customer service! I visited last Friday (December 31st) to celebrate my brother's birthday. This was my second time at the restaurant, and I ordered the dry beef noodles while we shared a few side dishes. I especially loved the flavorful beef broth from the dry noodles and the lard salad. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai food—you won't be disappointed!
My family and I used to visit this restaurant regularly when I was much younger, so we were delighted to find that after all these years, the food here is every bit as good as we last remembered. We ordered the basil chicken, tom yam seafood soup, claypot tang hoon with prawns, the prawn cakes and the beef noodles soup, and enjoyed every dish. The prawn cakes were to me a particular standout, chock full of juicy prawns with every bite. We couldn’t decide on which dessert to get so we got one of each, the Thai chendol, the red ruby and the mango with sticky rice. The Thai chendol is my favourite but my parents like the red ruby and the mango sticky rice equally. The service here is excellent as well. It’s a small restaurant with a lean set-up, but Ivy is really warm and friendly and she made us feel at home immediately. The food is also very reasonably priced. I only wish we’d come back here even sooner. Pro-tip: The restaurant is small so either come early or make reservations.
Good and tasty authentic thai food. Like the fried tanghoon prawn with slight chinese wine taste, excellent seafood tomyum soup with right balance of sweetness, sourness and spiciness. Dry beef noodle is very good. Must order the thai cendol dessert with the authentic pandan flavour. Thai red ruby is very good too with sizeable chestnut. Friendly and fast service. Will come back again.
