We enjoyed the food at old Rempapa in PLQ, but this one in National Gallery fell short. The satay was the highlight, but the nasi lemak chilli and prawn sambal chilli lacked the expected kick. The curry chicken was just average. Oh, and if you want extra chilli, you’ll have to pay. To make matters worse, two of us ordered quite a few dishes, and for some reason, we were given very little sambal chilli. On the bright side, this place is slightly better than the other Asian food place in National Gallery. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
We went for lunch on a Friday and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken curry had a nice level of spice and the meat was cooked well. The pork dish was well seasoned, although a few pieces were a bit chewy. The space itself was clean and comfortable, making it a relaxed spot for a casual lunch.
