Putien - Singapore
Putien
Description
Compact and unpretentious, this Sentosa Chinese eatery surprises with consistently flavorful Putien dishes — thin vermicelli, chunky sweet-and-sour pork, seaweed appetiser and a signature mildly sour chilli sauce worth buying. Service is brisk and friendly, with air-conditioning and clean, chill interiors, though seating can feel cramped and warm by the windows; portions are generous and prices a bit high. Desserts are refreshing for hot weather, and most diners praise the reliable, tasty menu despite occasional variability in seafood freshness.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It is clean and air-conditioned, and the food is delicious. We ordered six dishes and they were all fantastic! The dessert was very refreshing, which was perfect for the hot weather. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I give it five stars for the excellent service!
The restaurant may appear small and less upscale compared to others in Sentosa, but don't let that deter you. The food here is surprisingly delicious, even better than it looks. One standout dish is the vermicelli thin thread, which is both tasty and inventive. The sweet and sour pork is generously portioned and easy to chew, with a crispy coating and a balanced mix of flavors. The chili sauce provided is not too spicy, with a hint of sourness. The waitress did a great job accommodating our group of three by quickly arranging seating for us. Just be careful not to over order, as the portions here are larger than average. Overall, a satisfying dining experience with prompt service.

The restaurant look small compare to the other Sentosa and less posh. But don’t let that turn you away, you the food is surprising good, better that it’s look. One of the favourite would be the vermicelli thin thread-like but awesomely flavourful. The sweet and sour pork are chunky big easy to chew, soup and it small crunchy dumpling is cater towards with less salt. And the chilli sauce is not too spicy and a bit of sour. The waiter captain did a good job of quickly finding a seat for 3,!splitti
